I have used advance for 15 years, I have used them for every shop I have work for. I have went out of my way to make shops that I have ran change their main part supplier to advance. The commercial guys at every store are great and one of the reasons I like using them and have used for many years. Over the past 8 months or so I realized how much money I was wasting paying too much. I own a small used car lot so I don't buy parts hand over fist but I also can't pay top dollar either. I know many shop owners. All the shop owners I know told me I was crazy to use advance. So I called using my account to get a price it was 190. Then I called like a regular customer and it was 193. So then I use the online company that shops are using which I paid 118 for the same brand kit which was shipped to me the next morning at no extra cost to me. So I saved over 70 on just one purchase. I understand that online companies don't have the overhead like the local places do but come on 70 bucks? I don't mind paying a few bucks more but that's just a rip off. Now I see why so many shops aren't using advance. Shop I'm at now spends $250,000 on parts every year. The money you save buying online will pay for your employees wadge's. If the prices were competitive advance would be on top for every shop
